WWII has layer upon layer of meaning for me. I’m still uncovering the stories of my family members: those who served overseas, those who were called and served in Canada, those who found secret jobs. I’m also fascinated by the stories of the Chinese community, and what serving in WWII eventually led to: the franchise.
